Brennan Poindexter

Coach Bio

Coach Brennan "Coach B" Poindexter is the founder of the North Texas Kurators. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, he built the program to give young athletes the opportunities, exposure, experiences and support that help them grow on and off the field.

A multi-sport athlete, Coach B came up through youth football, played high school basketball at Terry High School and competed in Little League baseball — a background that shapes his focus on complete athletic development, teamwork and discipline.

Over three years in youth football he has worked with programs in El Paso and North Texas, including Prime (El Paso), the Westside Wranglers (El Paso) and Texas Blitz (Prosper), contributing across coaching, player development, recruiting, game-day media and program operations. As Head of Operations, he leads Kurators recruiting, roster development, parent and community engagement, fundraising, merchandise and team media.

Coaching Philosophy

Coach B's style is motivational and player-focused. One of the most important things a coach can do is help an athlete believe in themselves and recognize what they are capable of. He brings energy, encouragement and high expectations, and challenges players to push beyond their comfort zone.

Mistakes are opportunities to learn, not reasons to lose confidence. He wants his players to compete hard, stay positive through adversity, support their teammates and develop a genuine love for the game.
